Scott Gordon LPC

 

Scott is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling. He have served in the capacity of clinician, teacher, coach, and mentor to adults, adolescents, and children

He has experience working with many populations and mental health concerns, including, emotional instability, anger management, drug and alcohol issues, stress, anxiety, depression, parenting issues, career concerns, racial trauma, and self-esteem issues. He works to formulate treatment goals that are tailored for your unique and specific needs. As a performance coach, I work with companies to help provide support and guidance to help employees reach their full potential in their career. Through performance coaching, I provide clients with the resources and encouragement they need to excel by doing the following:Evaluating an employee’s performance. Identifying performance-related goals and objectives. Providing ongoing feedback about areas of improvement. Monitoring progress in achieving those goals. Suggesting relevant skills and competencies that might be needed. Offering resources and outlets to refine those skills.

Jamie Singleteary LPC

 

 Jamie Singleteary. is a Licensed Professional Counselor who loves to inspire and empower individuals on their journey to healthy purposeful living. She is a graduate of Ball State University with a B.A. in Telecommunications and Clark Atlanta University with a M.A. in Clinical Counseling Psychology. Jamie began her professional career in mental health in 2005 and has worked in multiple behavioral health settings. From higher levels of structured care in hospitals to outpatient programming. Her work is her passion. She enjoys working with her clients on improving communication, resolving conflict, repairing relationships and growing through the struggles of life.

Shanta Hayes LMSW

 

Shanta L. Hayes, LMSW: (Children, Adolescents, Families) 
Shanta has worked with a wide range of individuals, she has a passion for working with children and families. She has worked in community-based therapy, primarily in the school settings, working with youth, adolescents, and their families for several years. She is an advocate of self-care, children's mental health and parenting matters.  Shanta works from a Strengths based approaching, endeavoring to utilize the modality that is the best fit for the client with Cognitive Behavior Therapy, aspects of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Bibiliotherapy, aspects of Play Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy being utilized often.  Families appreciate Shanta's approachability and straight forwardness.  

Shanta graduated from Simmons University with her Master of Social Work degree. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in Afro-American and African Studies. 

Jamika Brown Certified Life Coach

 

Jamika Brown is a certified life and wellness coach who specializes in coaching women through life transitions. As a wife, mother, educator, entrepreneur, and author, Jamika has personally experienced many of the same transitions that she has coached her clients through. She is passionate about helping women to become their most authentic, creative, and confident selves.

Jamika is certified by the Health Coach Institute and has had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients with varied life backgrounds and circumstances. She has studied and worked hard to create programs that support her clients on their personal journeys with powerful outcomes. In addition to personal sessions, Jamika facilitates group sessions and workshops, and she is also an engaging speaker. Jamika believes that time is our most precious commodity. Therefore, our time should be spent living a fulfilled, harmonious, purposeful life.

Lamar Lewis LAPC

 

Lamarr Lewis, LAPC, is a dedicated advocate, author, and agent of change. As a community-based practitioner, he works with diverse groups including individuals with psychiatric disability, people in recovery from substance abuse, and at-hope youth (He does not use the term at-risk). Through homeless outreach initiatives, public speaking, and mentoring, he develops the next generation of leaders emphasizing sound mental health and holistic wellness.


He mines for the best in others by digging deep to find the brilliant, vibrant qualities that make them diamonds in the rough. Builds self-worth/self-esteem, providing clarity to unconscious habits causing them problems. His ideal client functions outwardly, but struggles with internal issues that keep them from living the life they desire. By being vulnerable and transparent with his setbacks, he works to show others that through resilience and hard work, they can create the life they want.


He is an alumnus of Wittenberg University, and received his master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Argosy University. His career spans over twenty years with experience as a mental health therapist, consultant, and human service professional. He is also a featured expert for organizations such as; Region IV Public Health Leadership Academy hosted by Emory University, The Ruby Neeson Diabetes Awareness Foundation, Wittenberg University, etc. His lifelong mission is to leave the world better than how he found it.
